Mid-Century Monday: Allard Road, Chapel Hill

July 20, 2020

Each Monday here on the Red Bloom Realty Blog, I highlight a home in the Triangle that is in the mid-century style.

Last week I was raving about a back patio.  This week, I’m raving about a front patio!  How cute is this entry way?  There’s something timeless, yet nostalgic about this brick and gravel patio area, and the same can be said for the cute round pavers that lead you there.  The only thing missing is you in this Coker Hills beauty.

The inside of this home is also very appealing.  The subtle angle of the vaulted ceiling, which guides the window shape is just the right amount of mid-century character, and it adoringly shapes the brick fireplace, as well.  This angled ceiling window view shows up again in some of the bedroom and bonus spaces.  The rich floors and vintage tiling are just the right touches for this 3 bedroom/2.5 bath split level, which delivers just shy of 2400 square feet.  The asking price is $625,000.
